Insulator Coating

CSL provides a virtually maintenance-free system to prevent leakage current, tracking and flash-over of porcelain and glass insulators. UV light, temperature or normal chemical environments do not affect CSL. It has been proven to be effective in all types of conditions from salt fog to cement dust.

CSL is not silicone grease; it is a room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber. IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) has tested CSL under the worst environments possible and that test data is available.
